Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Norway

Born in 1955. In 1979 graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University). In 1981 joined the diplomatic service.

Held various diplomatic posts in the central office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and at different foreign missions.

1992-2000 Director of the Department for Humanitarian Cooperation and Human Rights of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs

2000-2005 Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Korea

2005-2007 Ambassador at large, Ministry of Foreign Affairs

2007-2012 Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Denmark

2012-2016 Director of the Department of Linguistic Support of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Since November 2016 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Norway.

Has a diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

Languages: English, Spanish.

Married, has an adult son.
